Me And Julia Cameron

Thought you all would get a kick out of this picture, taken with my new iPhone by another participant.  This is the last day, I'm looking a bit rumpled but very happy to be there.

These are two women who really needed more coffee due to daylight savings time.  Julia was very gracious about allowing me to snap a picture for the blog.  Thank you!

More on this here:

(Would have gotten this up earlier, but I couldn't figure out how to get the picture off the phone.  My tech skillz are not so hawt...but I'm working on it.)

Very very cool! This experience will be the gift that keeps on giving you many blessings for a long, long time. Looking forward to hearing more!

Thanks, Sharon -- it was a seriously fun and rewarding experience, but a LOT of hard work. My brain is still processing a lot of it, and so I'll robably be blurting out bits and pieces for a few weeks about things that occur to me as I go back through my notes and re-read things.

For now? I'm just trying to stay awake long enough to throw some chicken in the crockpot and then head out to pick up The Peanut from school and do our usual Monday routine. Ayyyyyyieeeee. Getting back into the swing of things on far too little sleep is not easy as you get older. *g*

btw, this is what I've got cooking in the crockpot for dinner:

I didn't have bone-in thighs, just boneless/skinless ones, but I think it will work fine. Also, I used fresh rosemary instead of thyme with the lemon, and I didn't bother browning the chicken -- just tossed everything in my crockpot.

Will let you know how it tastes.

Dammit, I meant Linda -- man, do I need a serious nap. (Sorry!) I hit enter before I was done -- it was so great to meet you. And I hope things have resolved for the better with that horrid person that was causing problems for you. Hugs, hon.
