Pray For Sanity

It is 6:30 am, and I've already made a trip to the hospital this morning. Mr. ReddHedd has outpatient cataract surgery today.

I've had to drop him off rather than go in and wait with him because The Peanut's fever is up to 102.6 F (although she feels even warmer).  She has an appointment with the pediatrician later, which I hope won't end up conflicting with surgery pick-up, but we'll find a way to manage either way.

Did I mention it is sleeting and nasty outside?

Of course it is.

I'm about to go and get my first cuppa coffee -- the coffee pot mercifully finished brewing only seconds ago -- and I'm hoping life will begin to look less crazy at some point today.

Pray for sanity for me today, people.  I am gonna need it.

Surgery went well, and Mr. ReddHedd is home and resting. The Peanut is running a high fever and most likely has the flu as her strep test came back negative despite having a really raw, nasty looking throat. We have a follow-up with the doc in the morning to double-check, and I've got her down for a nap as well at the moment.

Whew! What a day! Hope yours is better than mine has been thus far...

Hi there,

This is a inquiry for the webmaster/admin here at homecelebration.blogspot.com.

Can I use part of the information from this post above if I give a backlink back to your site?

Thanks,
