Home Again, Home Again...

Home again, home again...

...but not so much with the jiggity jig.

We got into Pittsburgh late after a delay in Atlanta with our layover, that resulted in us finally driving into our very own driveway after 3 am this morning.  Let's just say the dogs were very happy for a short period of time, and then totally disgusted with us after we popped them back into their kennels and we headed up to bed.

The Peanut had her Halloween party at school today and it was so fun for her to see all her friends again.  The candy and cupcakes didn't hurt, either.

We're exhausted and likely to be napping quite a bit for the next few days.  Not enough sleep in the whole of the world to ease this weariness at the moment, I'm afraid.  But I'm working on it.

We've missed the full color of Fall this year...but that somehow seems appropriate under the circumstances of our family's loss.  It's been tough for everyone -- especially my brother-in-law and his kids -- but we'll all find a way to keep muddling forward.  Eventually, anyway.
