A Moment Of Grief

My sister-in-law, Amy, passed away this morning in her sleep.  She had ongoing issues with a congenital heart defect, but this was a shock.

She was not yet 40.

We'll be flying out to be with family in Phoenix for the forseeable future, so posting will be on hold for a bit.

Thanks, Suz -- we've been scrambling all day to get laundry done and then luggage packed, make travel arrangements, call the doggie sitter and school and everyone else that needed to be notified...and we're still completely numb and in shock. This is going to take a while to sink in -- I'm still amazed we managed to get a flight out tomorrow given how packed all the airlines were. I'm just so numb, and so sad, all at the same time...it's a painful ache to lose someone this close to you at this young age.

Oh, honey!

Not quite yet old enough to yell at the kids to get off her lawn.

My sincere condolences.

Busted.
