This was one of those moments on our vacation where time stopped for a second. In the gorilla enclosure at the Animal Kingdom, there is a baby gorilla, just a few months old at this point and utterly adorable.
He kept wanting to hold his momma's hand. Somehow, I managed to capture the moment when he finally caught hold and gazed up at her.
I wish I had video of him rolling and frolicking and showing off for her beforehand, because it was priceless.
The Peanut and I were mesmerized. Mr. ReddHedd unfortunately missed this, because he was sitting down to rest his tired feet and sipping on a cold beverage at the time. Bummer for him, because it was completely and totally awesome.
Sometimes, the tiniest things loom large. In this case, it was a little tenderness from a baby gorilla and his momma. Would not have missed this for the world.
