Finding My Household Bliss

We awoke this morning to a very snowy day:  nasty roads and birds all over the feeders, with a squirrel raid ongoing at the bird feeders and a very agitated westie trying to make them go away.  It is a sort of cozy pandemonium, I suppose.

The cold, dreary outside is making me appreciate the warmth and comfort of our house even more than usual.

It is the sort of day to curl up under a blanket and read the day away.  If only the evil squirrels would go and hibernate, so the dog could have a moment's peace and the rest of the household, too, as a result.

Today, happiness would be a warm blanket mixed with a quiet pooch.  But I'll settle for the warm blanket.
