I am sitting hear on a dreary gray morning, sucking down my coffee and watching the rain drip, drip, drip down the top of the empty bird feeder abandoned by all the birds huddling in the shrubs to stay dry. No snow out of the latest weather system thus far, just a lot of damp and blah.
But looking at this picture?
That takes me right back to the sunrise walk on the beach with The Peanut. It was so, so cold, but absolutely gorgeous. This photo takes me right back to that vacation happy place where I can hear and smell the salt spray of the ocean crashing against the shore...suddenly the dreary morning isn't so bad after all.
