Beware Of Roving 'Gators

Funniest sign we spotted on our trip.  Found this posted by some fishing docks on Fish Island in the middle of Lake Joe at the Sea Pines Forest Preserve.  Just hilarious.  Much laughter over this one...survivors will be ticketed, indeed.

It is cold here this morning, and we have a birdie-palooza going on the feeder just outside our sunroom windows.  I've been sitting here, sipping my coffee, and enjoying the view:  several cardinals, chickadees, titmice, Carolina wrens, assorted sparrows and finches and mourning doves, and even a little downy woodpecker vying for space at the seed trough.  (UPDATE:  And a red-bellied woodpecker, too, as I was posting this.  It's a fun morning out the window, thanks to some chilly weather.)

Life is good this morning.

But if they keep this up, I'm going to have to re-stock our seed larder.  Thus far no squirrels, much to the consternation of our westie, Roxie, but it is still early.

Now, if I could only find a house elf to do some laundry for me today, my life would be perfect.
