Bits And Pieces

We have Open House at school on Wednesday.  This will be my first one since beginning at the library, so I'm keen to get the room thoroughly straightened and ready for visitors.

Will be spending most of today and tomorrow doing just that.  At least, that's the plan anyway.

The weekend was lovely here -- decent weather, fun-filled family day out on Saturday including a lovely drive to see the last of the Fall leaves.

The good news about the week?

We finally got some gas logs which will be installed in our living room fireplace this week.  Huzzah!  Winter coziness on a snow day, here we come!

The bad news about the week?

I got the pathology report back on a mole that I had biopsied, and it was melanoma.  Will now be undergoing a further sentinel lymph node biopsy in the next couple of weeks -- will know more once I meet with the surgeon -- and we'll see where this goes from there.

Good thoughts, prayers and crossed fingers would be much appreciated.

Hope things are going well with everyone else.
