No end in sight for the icy ick on the streets outside. The weatherman swore that it would warm up today, but it feels ridiculously cold out there right now, so much so that the dog doesn't even want to play in the snow in the yard any longer.
If our westie is getting tired of the snow, imagine how the rest of us feel.
It is the perfect day to slip into a good book and escape into another climate and place altogether. A good blanket, a hot cuppa tea, a little fire going in the fireplace and a good book would be perfection today.
If only there were house elves to do the laundry...
