Let It Rain

Today has dawned soggy and gray, with rain pouring down from the sky like it is being dumped from heaven by the bucketful.  Definitely a day to be inside where things are dry and cozy, that's for certain.

Days like this always remind me of the bus stop scene in My Neighbor Totoro.

The joy of discovering what an umbrella can do for you.  Priceless.  This is just classic Miyazaki.

Worth the watching for the giggle and the reminder that gratitude for the little things can make a big difference in perspective.
