We have a chickadee problem this morning.
I forgot to refill the bird feeder outside our sun room window yesterday afternoon, and now I'm getting the stink-eye from a chattery little fellow who wants me to get off my rear end and off the computer and out into the yard with delicious seeds and nuts post haste.
He will not take no for an answer.
We now know where the phrase "hopping mad" may have originated. Or at least a graphic illustration of it just outside our windows, anyway.
Guess I'd better refill the bird feeders before there is a mutiny. Or worse, something of Hitchcockian proportions.
Speaking of which, did you see the HBO bio-pic, "The Girl," which tells the story of the filming of The Birds in a not very flattering light? Brilliant performances in the movie -- would love to know how much of it is accurate and what is not.
