We had a vistor on the wall of the house outside our front door recently. Our westie, Roxie, was not amused by the huge green thing lurking by the door, but The Peanut and I were absolutely fascinated.
Which, come to think of it, may be why Roxie was so peeved, since a praying mantis was stealing her attention.
I managed to snap a photo of the lovely bug, and thought I'd share it with everyone.
She disappeared somewhere between yesterday morning and yesterday afternoon when we got home from school. But it was a lovely interlude with something unusual for a couple of days at our house.
Nature is awesome.
