Much to the delight of The Peanut and myself, the butterfly bush outside our large sunroom windows has finally attracted quite a few butterflies in this later summer.
But this year we have a lively addition: a little, male ruby throated hummingbird.
So fun for both of us to watch as he flits hither and yon from one blossom-laden branch to the next, noisily chasing off butterflies who dare to touch his domain.
Hilarious stuff for an end of summer giggle.
