Home again, home again...and not a moment too soon.
I love traveling and seeing new things, but this was a little too much travel in a very concentrated two week period of time. We are all happy to be back home.
It's funny how being home in the summer can seem so boring one day to your nine year old, and so wonderful and comforting after a long trip like this. But we did get to see some wonderful things -- including a couple of trips to the aquarium in Charleston, SC.
Lots and lots of pictures to share, which I'll do over the next few days. But for now?
We're going to veg a bit more and rest up from all the driving. And stay out of the heat -- it's miserably hot here today. Is it that way where you are, too?
