Please Do Not Cancel GCB!!!

Here's my dirty little secret:  I love me some GCB.  Loooooooove it.

Sure, it isn't Shakespeare or Chekhov, but that is the point.  It's campy, hilarious and raunchy and entertaining as hell.

We have our Tivo set to tape it every week, and I shoo the family out of the house on Monday morning, putter around clearing dishes and such and then I settle in for a rolicking giggle fit to start my week.  All thanks to the genius that is Annie Potts.  The woman is a national treasure.

And now?  ABC wants to cancel GCB.  The horror!!!!!!!

Please, please reconsider ABC.  I haven't laughed this hard at a show in years.  The episode where they put on a church musical had me laughing so hard I had tears streaming down my cheeks and I feared for my bladder integrity. (See YouTube clip above, but I give you fair spew warning, so put down your coffee before hitting the play button.) That kind of serious laughing fit is hard to find on tv these days!

Give it one more season.  Please, please, please...think of the women who like to laugh!
