The Peanut is at grandma's house this weekend. So Chez Smith is awfully quiet at the moment -- almost too quiet.
What that means, though, is that we got to sleep in until well past 8:00 am this morning. Woo hoo! It's a miracle!
Isn't it sad that as you get older you get so excited by a little extra sleep and a day off? But that's the truth of it. There are days when I would quite honestly trade in a limb for some extra sleep. Parenthood...it's not for sissies.
What that means for us is that we get to head out and find a little grown-up people adventure today. It's a big world out there, hopefully we'll find some fun in our day.
Say it with me: the laundry can wait for a day, let's go out and play.
