On Way Or Another

It's chilly here today.  Perfect weather for curling up with a good book, a soft blanket and a mug of hot tea.

Instead, I'll be running errands for a bit and generally trying to get caught up on everything I haven't had time to do all week long.  It's the end of the first 9 weeks of school and I've been calculating my first term of grades.  Can't believe we're already at that point int he school year -- or how much work it takes to get that done for 7 classes worth of kids.

This year has been a blur.

Doesn't it seem as you get older that the days and weeks and months and years all start to blend together in one enormous, rushing moment in time that disappears in the blink of an eye?  Remember when you were a kid and a summer day seemed to last forever?  That you could just stretch out time and drink in all the rest of your life in long, slow gulps?

Where did that go?

Somehow, one way or another, I'm going to make time to sit and relax at some point in my day.  Just not quite yet, because my "to do" list is growing by the minute.  But at some point?  I'm going to put away the "to do" list for a bit and just exhale and be.

How are things with all of you?
