We woke up this morning to fog and temperatures in the 40s.
Fall is coming. Soon.
We have had precious little rain the last few weeks, though. Only recently have we gotten some soaking rain, and then it came with tornadoes in tow (luckily, none near to us, though).
The trees are parched as a result, and the leaves are crumbly looking and not likely to last with their fall color for very long this year, I'm afraid.
Fall in the Mountain State is a glory to behold.
This year, though, we will get a short fanfare followed by a lot of crunching, I think.
Whatever we get, though, I'll take it. Crisp mornings, moderate days, and cool evenings? This is my favorite time of year. We're headed out to enjoy the day. Hope you have a wonderful Saturday, too.
