Here's a Bit Of Exciting News...

I've been asked to host a book salon/chat at FDL with Frances Moore Lappe on August 28th at 5 pm ET.

We'll be discussing her latest book, Getting A Grip 2: Clarity, Creativity and Courage for the World We Really Want.

Am really looking forward to it, because her work has always been infused with a sort of no nonsense, look for a solution outside the usual sort of feel.  This book is no different, even though it tackles some pretty weighty issues.

If nothing else, I'll look forward to chatting with her about how we get beyond the vast herd of sheeple and into a place where original thought and possibility outside the usual boxes can flourish.

If that is even possible.  Paint me cynical this morning.
